Mission

Amy's Armoire's mission is to improve the outcomes for Vermont foster/adopt/kin children and youth by connecting families to the resources they need.

What We Do

In addition to providing a place to recycle clothing, and clothe those in need, we sell items at modest prices to raise money for our mission and help caregivers have access to the supports they need to succeed. Any funds remaining after operating expenses will be utilized to support the stabilization of children in their current foster/adopt/kin placement or at home.

About Us

Beyond clothing people, and keeping clothes out of landfills, we function as a resource center for foster/adoptive/kin families. This 501(c) (3) nonprofit was founded in February 2021 by experienced foster/adoptive parents and dedicated community members. No salaries are paid to board members, executive directors, or CEOs. The shop is staffed by volunteers and one part-time retail manager.
